Progard Plastics saw this project as a perfect fit for our company, understanding the international standards required for a new AFL Grand Stadium and working with the harsh environments typical of the Ballarat Region, extreme cold and hot weather, we worked very closely with the architect, engineers, builders, steel structural company Steelvision and the client understanding fully what their requirements were in regards to fire hazards in a public venue, high wind loads to the structure, aesthetics, longevity of the material and most importantly was the detail for the fitting and installation of the polycarbonate into the steel structure.

Progard Plastics together with partner Arla Plas in Sweden made sure our recommended polycarbonate sheet for this project was the best “fit for purpose” product on offer worldwide, meeting international fire standards and performance.
